That's a picture of my chest hair. How embarrassing. What should I do with it? I don't like how it grows up towards my shoulders and it's all bushy at the top. But I also am not a fan of shaving it completely off since it hurts for one, and grows back pricklier than ever. I also tried to just trim the top and leave the 'happy trail,' but the happy trail has a lot of hairs jutting out to the sides so it doesn't look natural when I shave the top.

How should I trim it? What should I do? Specifics please!

Personally, I like a guy with chest hair so I would say leave it... however if you really don't like it then get it waxed. That's easiest.

Shaving shouldn't hurt, but I do see how the stubble would be annoying. If it really bothers you, you could just remove it with a depilatory cream (ex. Nair) - just slather on and rinse off.

Oh my goodness! Get that nasty stuff waxed off! There's nothing happy about that trail. It's not even a trail, more like a hair monster just coughed on your abdomen. Wax the sides of the "trail" and wax the top completely off. I bet it sticks out of the top of your t-shirts, doesn't it? I'm glad you're hoping to do something about it. It seems your chest/abdomen have a triple problem: too much hair, not much muscle and no pigment. It's the combination that is making the ladies react like they are. I agree with the girl who told you to delete the photo. Keep your shirt on until you can get this fixed.

I am so sorry. I am too afraid to go to the site. But, I do have a question for you. Why are you shaving it? Yeow!! OMG that must be painful! Have you given any thought to having it professionally waxed? I have known guys who have done this before. There is some discomfort in doing this but it stays off a whole lot longer and your skin is smoother than a baby's behind/ I did this myself to my legs when I was around 21 and 30+ yrs later my legs have no growth at all. Sometimes this is a wonderful after effect of waxing. Just make sure that you use lotion on your back afterward. Waxing will make it a little red. Also, you could use electrolysis but it would be quite expensive. I did my legs at home using my microwave. Just be very careful as the wax will catch flame if you overheat it.

Why shave it off anyway? There are plenty of gals who would be willing to swim around in all that hair. It's a human being thing. If god didn't want us to have hair, we'd all be born bald as cue balls!

If it embarrasses you this much have the laser hair removal performed. It's not permanent but long lasting as in many months even one year.

Electrolysis is about the best option but it's very expensive and time consuming and for a man's entire chest and abdomen will take dozens of appointments and hundreds of hours. But it would be permanent. Contact the best dermatologist in your area as they often refer to those who do this well.

Shaving is a cheap and effective option. Some men especially swimmers shave their entire body except for head and eyebrows several times a week without any skin irritation.

Shower and rinse let wet apply a good gel shaving cream and work the shaving cream into you skin and take a new razor, a better brand, and shave your chest.

After this you can maintain your chest with every other day or twice a week shaving with a good electric wet/dry shaver in the shower. Or a good dry electric shaver in the shower.

Just get into the shower dry and wash your entire chest with rubbing alcohol, let dry and shave with electric shaver.

Contrary to popular myth shaving doesn't make the hair grow back more it just makes it sharper on the ends and slightly darker in color which gives the appearance of more hair but it isn't. Shaving doesn't create more hair follicules thus not creating more hair to grow back.

Why not simply enjoy your masculine traits? There is nothing wrong with a man having a hairy chest.

Tan %26amp; Wax, baby. Don't trim it....but if you kept up with shaving (everyday, every other day in the shower), it wouldn't be so bad. There's stuff in the girlie section of stores to prevent razor rash ....BikiniZone.

I have a man with a furry chest too, and it's awkward to try to lay on him...the hairs poke my nose %26amp; eyes...lol
